Begins: |

Entry: |
$50. Entry fee includes all tournament prizes plus breakfast before play starting at 7:30 am and beer after play |
Format: |
This is an individual Quota tournament based on the Stableford system. Player's point quotas will be determined by subtracting your current handicap from 36. For example, a player with a handicap of 12 would have a point quota of 24 (36-12=24). However, no player will be allowed to play with a quota lower than 10. Points will be earned based on your gross score on each hole as follows:
Bogey = 1 point
Par = 2 points
Birdie = 3 points
Eagle = 5 points
Double Eagle = 10 points
Hole-in-One = 10 points
Tee played will be determined by flight based on the number of participants and handcap index.
Pari-Mutuel betting will be available for this tournament.
The MGA will pay $500 cash for any hole-in-one in this tournament.
The top five finishers in each flight will earn additional MGA Player of the Year, $2500 Shoot-Out, and Stonebridge Cup qualifying points.

Three Strikes - February 25 at 8:30 am |
Begins: |
8:30 am Shotgun Start |
Entry: |
$50 entry fee includes all tournament prizes plus lunch and beer after play |
Format: |
This is an individual stroke play tournament with a twist. All players will play their own ball at 100% of their current handicap. The twist is that only 15 holes will count toward the player's score. At the end of the round, each player will "strike" three holes from his scorecard. The three holes to be "struck" will be in relation to par. Example, if you have a 6 on a par five and a 6 on a par 4, you'll strike the par 4 since that score is 2 over par.
We will have flights from the Gold, Blue and White tees in this tournament. The flight you play in will be determined by the number of participants and your handicap index.
Pari-Mutuel betting will be available for this tournament.
The top five finishers in each flight will receive additional MGA Player of the Year, $2500 Shoot-Out, and Stonebridge Cup qualifying points.
The MGA will pay $500 cash for any hole-in-one in this tournament.
Entry deadline is Thursday, February 23. Sign up at dyemga.golfgenius.com.

Play will continue in a similar manner until the ball is holed. Teams will receive 35% of the low handicap player plus 15% of the higher handicap player for a team handicap over these six holes.

President's Cup - April through October |
Begins: |
Begins April 1. Schedule your own matches on any course. |
Entry: |
$50. Deadline for entry is Wednesday, March 29. Field is limited to 128 players. |
Format: |
The format for the President's Cup in 2017 is changing.
The field will be bracketed with 16 players in each bracket. Play will be single-elimination until a bracket winner has been determined.
Each match will be played using the current handicap for each player at the time of the match. The higher handicap player will receive the difference in his handicap from his opponent on the handicap holes. For example, if the two players have handicaps of 14 and 12, the 14 handicap will receive 2 stokes in the match on the two lowest handicap holes.
The Dye Course will be closed for greens replacement during June, July, August and September. Because of this, any President's Cup match can be played on any golf course that is mutually agreeable to the match opponents. Tees played will be determined by bracket. If a match is played on a course other than the Dye course, the tees played should be roughly equivalent to the yardage for the tees at the Dye course.
However, all matches must be completed by the deadline on the bracket. The MGA will not grant any extensions to match deadlines. There will be approximately 7 weeks to get each match played.
The result of each match must be reported to the Dye Pro Shop immediately after the match is completed.
Bracket winners will receive 60% of the bracket entry fees with the runner-up receiving 40%.
The top five finishers in each flight will receive additional MGA Player of the Year, $2500 Shoot-Out, and Stonebridge Cup qualifying points.
Bracket winners will automatically qualify for the 2017 Dye Stonebridge Cup team.
Bracket winners will also advance to a Finals bracket to determine an overall President's Cup winner and receive an additional $200 in Pro Shop Credit.
All finals matches will be from the Blue tees.

Dornick Hills was designed and built in 1913 by world-renowned course designer Perry Maxwell. You might recognize his name. Mr Maxwell designed Colonial in Ft. Worth, Southern Hills in Tulsa, Prairie Dunes in Kansas, and another 75 respected courses across the U.S. He did redesign work on famed courses Pine Valley, Cypress Point and Augusta among others. But of all his work, Dornick Hills was his favorite. In fact, he is buried on the course adjacent to hole 16.
Dornick Hills is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Oklahoma. It boasts the first Oklahoma golf club affiliation with the United States Golf Association, as well as being the site of numerous tournaments including the Ardmore Open, a P.G.A. tour event, from 1952 to 1954. It is also home to the clubs signature event "The Oilmen's" since 1963, and the premier college event of the region "The Maxwell" for over 10 years.
Located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the trip to Dornick HIlls is 99 miles from the Dye Course. The course address is 519 Country Club Road in Ardmore. The approximate drive time from our club is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
